AI development
As a founding engineer, I built AI systems that used ML inference to support cancer diagnosis. I also helped build reliable platform infrastructure for foundational models and AGI-oriented inference pipelines.
Vasishta (Vas) Kuruganti builds the systems that make intelligent systems possible.
I work across AI development, AgenticAI, AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, site reliability engineering, and software architecture. My focus is simple: build systems that are scalable, observable, resilient, and ready for production.
Over fifteen years, I’ve worked across software engineering, building and training models from data, AgenticAI, infrastructure architecture, distributed systems, and reliability engineering.
My background spans enterprise platforms, cloud-native systems, AgenticAI, automation, observability, AI development, and production infrastructure for machine learning workloads. I studied engineering in India and earned a Master of Engineering from Boston University, where I focused on machine learning, signal processing, complex systems, and distributed computing.
At Broadcom, I design and build distributed AI infrastructure systems, scale AI agents, and improve the reliability and performance of enterprise platforms.
My work cuts across AI engineering, system architecture, cloud-native environments, automation, and infrastructure tooling. I collaborate across engineering teams to improve scalability, operational resilience, and performance under real production constraints.
As a founding engineer, I built AI systems that used ML inference to support cancer diagnosis. I also helped build reliable platform infrastructure for foundational models and AGI-oriented inference pipelines.
I design monitoring, triage, and autoremediation frameworks that reduce production incidents and improve resilience across distributed systems.
I write about platform engineering, systems architecture, technical leadership, and the organizational leverage that comes from building the right infrastructure.
